In Feb / March 2026 we started a new "Sound Group" with mental health therapist Frances Treanor. Focused on SEND & young people facing isolation. We delivered sessions with different artists every week at ROAR, making instruments etc
This led to a month of sessions in partnership with Wentworth Woodhouse Horticulture Garden, working with Sam Schorb who created various sensors to make sounds with plants.
The group really wanted to do more sessions so we have committed to making it a regular monthly group - and will incorporate it into upcoming projects such as York University Gamelan and trips to the Peak District with Endeavour.
